5th Rock Me International

Fifth annual party of Eurofest Croatia (OGAE Croatia) - Rock Me International - has been held from October 12 - October 14, 2007 in Rabac - a beautiful little place on the Croatian coast.
First night was absolutely great - opening ceremony has been spectacular! Emilija Kokic, (Eurovision winner 1989. with group Riva) sang "Rock Me" and made real Eurovision atmosphere. Emilija also sang two of her very successful songs: "I'll never fall in love again" and "This is me". (click on the songs and listen to the clips). These two songs are being aired in 50 countries worldwide, reaching even the highest scores on the national music charts.
Following the remixed english version of "Rock Me" Emilija gave us an interview presented by Tomislav (president of Eurofest Croatia) and Goran (member of Eurofest Croatia). She revealed that she has no intentions of going to DORA again as a result of which we won't see her on ESC stage again.
It's like climbing a mountain. I have reached the top on my first try and no one can guarantee that my second try would end up good! Winning Eurovision Song Contest is a big thing and great feeling. I think that's how it should remain.
Emilija really made this year's party special. People from Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Turkey, even one guest from Philippines, enjoyed Emilija's company very much.
Second night was great too. We had music guest from Slovenia - Jernej Dermota (EMA 2007). Jernej sang us some of his great dance songs!
However, Saturday was very "competitive day". So many contests and choosing many "best" things...
- The winner of "Sentiments Songes" (annual contest for best ESC ballad) is song "Apres Toi" - Luxembpurg 1972.
- Winner of the ESC QUIZ is Miroslav Luburic, OGAE Serbia president!
- The winning song of "Big 6 Grand Prix" (contest for best ex-Yugoslav song 1993.-2007.) is "Molitva" - Serbia 2007.
- BANA-BANA winner (contest for the best imitation of ESC song / performace) is Reinhard Fiemers from OGAE Germany!
