6th ROCK ME INTERNATIONAL | ESC party by Eurofest Croatia

Sixth annual Rock Me International - party by Eurofest Croatia was held last weekend (September 26-28).

This year's party was opened by Maja Blagdan - the Croatian representative at ESC 1996 and also our best positioned performer ever.

Maja won everybody's attention in Rabac, not only with her charm but also with her personality during and after her 40 minutes performance. Her last song for the evening was Sveta ljubav and with Maja's help everybody remembered those years of Eurovision when Croatia's name actually stood for something important. (video coming soon)

The first night of the party continued in good spirits, with a lot of fun, games and euromusic!

On Saturday we organized an entire range of competitions, such as the association's assembly meeting and other, far more interesting like "The best ESC ballad" pool, "The best DORA song" pool, the ESC quiz, as well as the games' finals.

- The best ESC ballad MOCEDADES: Eres tú (Spain 1973.)
- The best DORA song ever (1993-2008) MAGAZIN-CRONIKA: Hrvatska rapsodija (Croatian rhapsody) (DORA 2000)
- The ESC quiz winner: Reinhard Fimmers (Germany)
- The winners of the games: Miran Cvetko (Slovenia), Berislav Kovacevic and Marina Legvart (Croatia).

The must see-and-must-hear event of the evening is the famous Bana Bana (parody show or the impersonation contest). This year's winner is Tomislav Krizmanić (Croatia). He won by far performing Vanna's song "Strings of My Heart". Congratulations!

Saturday's evening was marked by the White Party. All people wore white (ok, almost all). And that's when the magic of the White Party started... What it's all about - find out from our photo gallery (follow the link at the end of the article)

And so on until late night or early morning... As we leave one more party behind us we look forward to the next one and hope it will be even nicer and even better!
