OGAE Song Contest 2007 [UPD]

OGAE Song Contest 2007 will be organized by OGAE Greece following Helena Paparizou's victory in 2006th edition with  song "Mambo". 29 countries will take part this year. Greek club made special web site with all information about the Contest.

Special OGAE Song Contest (OGAE SC) DVD with all participants has been released this year for the first time by OGAE Greece. It will be delivered to all OGAE clubs next week in a very special package!

Head of OGAE SC 2007 team Kostas Zisis stated that OGAE members will be able to vote by December 15, 2007.

WWW.OGAESC2007.COM offers many information about the participating countries but also a possibility to listen to all the songs (only for OGAE club members). All fans can vote (in Eurovision style) for their favourites OGAE Song Contest winners from the past and from September 20 a new pool will be opened where fans will be able to vote for this year favorites whereby the 2007 winner might be predicted.

The winner of OGAE Song Contest 2007 is representative of Spain - Rebeca's song "Que no daria yo".

With 20 points more than runner up - UK's Take that, Rebeca won this year's contest. 20 out of 29 participating countries gave their points to Spain.

Croatia did quite bad again - Lana's "1 reason" got only 13 points - from Turkey (6), Slovenia (5) and Macedonia (2) - ending up at 23rd place.

The worst result generated Slovenia and Denmark with 0 points.
