Ivo Gamulin Gianni to represent Croatia on 2009 OGAE Second Chance Contest
04. March 2009, 01:14

The deadline for voting on the Croatian preselection for OGAE Second Chance Contest has passed yesterday midnight. The winner is, as many wanted and expected, Ivo Gamulin Gianni with song Daj mi jedan razlog (Give me one rason).
This song is also available in an Italian version. Listen to it here.
The runner up is Franka followed by Feminnem. It is interesting to see that the winner of DORA, according to Eurofest Croatia vote, ended up at 4th place. TOP 5 is closed with Danijela Pintarić with song Zlatna rijeka (Golden river) and Marko Tolja with song Stranci (Strangers).

What is OGAE Second Chance Contest (SCC) ?
OGAE Second Chance Contest is an annual contest. It was established in 1987 and was then called EUROPE'S FAVOURITE, aiming to answer the question... what if that song had represented us in Eurovision instead....? It means that "second chance" is given to all those songs from national finals (in Croatia it's DORA), except to the winner song, to be presented to the European audience. Members of OGAE clubs are selecting the song to represent their country by internal voting procedure. Find out more here.
