OGAE CONTESTS
For many years now, OGAE International Network organizes several contests for OGAE clubs. Participation in these contests is voluntary.
Croatian OGAE club - Eurofest Croatia - regularly participates in two contests - OGAE Second Chance Contest and OGAE Song Contest. Occasionally we participate in OGAE Video Contest.
OGAE Second Chance Contest (SCC)
OGAE Second Chance Contest is an annual contest started in 1987 and was then called EUROPE'S FAVOURITE, aiming to answer the question... what if that song had represented us in Eurovision instead....? It means that "second chance" is given to all those songs from national finals (in Croatia it's DORA), except to the winner song, to be presented to the European audience. Members of OGAE clubs are selecting the song to represent their country by internal voting procedure. (ARCHIVE AVAILABLE SOON)

OGAE Song Contest (SC)
OGAE Song Contest is an annual contest started in 1986. The aim of SC is presentation of songs not connected to Eurovision in any way. This means that the song didn't participate in national pre-selection for Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) nor on the ESC itself. Members of OGAE clubs are selecting the song to represent their country by internal voting procedure. The song must not be older than a year and it has to be on the language of its country.
SC is a very good way of getting to know current musical trends activities throughout Europe. How else could you hear great music from Malta, Norway, Ireland, Croatia, Georgia, Ukraine... (ARCHIVE AVAILABLE SOON)
OGAE Video Contest (VC)
OGAE Video Contest is an annual contest. VC is a video event in which, much like the OGAE Song Contest, all OGAE national clubs can enter with an original song and video released in the previous 12 months in their countries. There is no obligation on the entry for the Contest to be sung in one of the country's official language. Due to the reduction of music video production in Croatia, Eurofest participates in VC occasionally. (ARCHIVE AVAILABLE SOON)
