THE ASSOCIATION

The Association was established as a "non-formal" club in 1997. in Split as OGAE Croatia. Headquarters moved to Makarska and finally to Zagreb where it still is. Since its very beginning club gathers Eurovision fans from Croatia.

The official registration has been made back in 2004 as Eurofest Croatia with full name - "Croatian Association of Eurovision Song Contest Fans".

Eurofest Croatia is a member of OGAE network (Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l'Eurovision). Network gathers over 40 OGAE clubs throughout Europe. We participate in major OGAE events: Second Chance Contest, Song Contest and Video Contest. Our members regularly attend DORA - Croatian National Preselection for Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), but also in those of other countries.

We organize regular meetings with our members and an annual Eurovision party "Rock Me International" as well as publishing our magazine ogaecroatia@info, only for members, and "ESC-info" just before Eurovision Song Contest. Our members have the access to a big audio/video collection.

More and more active members participate in our activities, and the Association itself participates in many OGAE network events.

Over the past time we established very good contacts with many clubs throughout Europe. We have great cooperation with national TV - HRT - which allows us to participate at DORA and ESC itself. Very good cooperation with Croatian media gives us chance to promote Eurovision and European music in general.
